Subject: ANPS Transportation Policy
ANPS offers transportation to Abu Dhabi City, Al Reem Island, Khalifa City, Shakhbout City, MBZ and the surrounding areas (to a radius of approximately 30 km from the school premises). The buses undergo periodic maintenance and are all supplied with CCTV to ensure safety on the bus. The buses are monitored and tracked by DOT and Abu Dhabi Police.
All drivers and helpers are certified and well trained to ensure safety upon all the school trips.
The bus registration application must be submitted during the registration of the academic year. The full payment is done in advance for the whole year (all 3 terms).
The parents will be given a behavior expectation agreement together with the refunds policy. The agreement should be signed by the parents who wish to use the bus. You may download a copy of the agreement that all users have to sign.
Attached is a copy of the bus registration form with the school refund policy highlighted in yellow.
Bus Registration Form 2024-2025

Dear parents,
Please complete this registration form and submit it to the school registration counter at the time of admission. Submitting this form does not guarantee the student's bus service. The Transport department will contact all the students who make the payment before the last date of fee payment. Bus seat allotments are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The form collects: Student's Name, School code, Grade & Section, Gender, Parent ID, Home Address (Premise ID from the ADDC bill, Building name / Landmark, Street name, Area), and Parent/Guardian Signature. (For office use only: Bus Number, Bus service start date, Approved by.)
Bus Transportation Registration
- Parents who choose to have their child/children commute by school bus should complete and submit the transport application form at the time of admission/re-registration.
- Transportation applications are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only limited seats are available.
- Only two-way transport is available (School to home & Home to school).
- The Transport department requires 3-5 working days to process a new request after the payment is completed.
- The school may decline a bus transportation application in case a student resides outside the scheduled bus routes or area.
Bus Transportation Fees
- Bus service enrollment is for the whole academic year and parents who choose to have their child use the school bus will be charged bus fees for the full academic year.
- The bus seat will be confirmed only after the full payment is completed.
Transport Cancellation
Cancellation requests should be submitted in writing or by email to transport@anps.co before the deadline and get a confirmation from the transport department. Cancellation requests made after 15/08 will not be accepted.
Change in Residential Address
- A location change request will be processed only if the new area is under school bus coverage and seats are available.
- The Transport department requires 5-7 working days to provide the bus service from a new location.
- Parents are requested to inform the transportation department in writing or email if there is any change in residential address or pick up/drop off point during the academic year.
Pick up & Drop off
- Bus assistants will give the pick-up time to all, and students must be at the stop 2 minutes before the given pickup time. Buses will not be waiting for students at the stop. If any student is not available at the stop, the bus will move to the next stop.
- School ID cards are mandatory to use the school transportation.
- All students using the school bus must be waiting for the bus at the designated stop given by the bus assistant. School buses are not permitted to enter inside the private villa compound to pick up students.
- Parents can contact the bus assistant through the given contact numbers in case of important matters. Bus assistants will not call the students/parents in the morning unless there is an emergency.
- Parents/guardians are not permitted to enter the bus or argue with the bus staff and delay the bus. Any complaints or suggestions for improvement can be brought to school authorities by call or email: transport@anps.co, operations@anps.co.
- Students below 12 years of age must be accompanied by parents/guardians at the bus pick-up/drop-off point.
- If the parents/guardian are not available at the stop during drop off, the student would remain in the bus and will be returned to school.
Student Conduct
Students must abide by school rules and regulations in the bus. Students/parents who violate the bus rules or behave in a manner that threatens the safety of others on the bus will be denied the privilege to use the school bus service. Any damage made to the bus equipment or fixtures by a student will have to be compensated by the respective parent.
To ensure the safety of all students on the bus, students should abide by the following:
- Arrive on time for the bus for boarding and disembarking the bus in a safe and proper manner.
- Remain seated with seat belts at all times while the bus is in motion.
- Respect and follow the instruction of bus assistants all the time.
- Refrain from any behavior that might endanger the safety of self and others.
- Refrain from littering and eating inside the bus.
- Refrain from opening the windows, damaging seats or fixtures in the bus.
- Refrain from pushing, disturbing or fighting with others.
Deadline Dates & Communication
- Last date to submit transport registration form: 01/05
- Last date for bus transport fee payment: 19/08
- Last date of change in pick up/drop-off point or residential address: 19/08
- Last date of bus service cancellation: 15/08/2024. No refund will be processed after this date.
- Any request must be made in writing or email to transport@anps.co with regard to change in location/residential address or cancellation, and get a confirmation from the transport department.

Declaration
I understand the pick-up/drop-off point and that the school will not be responsible for the safety of the child once my child leaves the school bus. I agree that my child be brought back to school if the parent/guardian is not present at the drop-off point.
